About Danton

Hi, I’m Danton—a husband, father of three, and most importantly, a redeemed child of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. I know firsthand what it feels like when your family is torn apart by poor choices and sin. After making devastating mistakes that cost me my marriage and relationship with my children, I found myself completely broken and alone.

But God met me in that dark place. Through His incredible grace and forgiveness, He began a transformation in my heart that continues today. I’m currently walking through the journey of family restoration—though my wife prefers to remain friends for the sake of our children, I continue to believe and pray for the restoration of our marriage. By God’s grace and in His perfect timing, I trust He will make a way. But here’s what I’ve learned: my completeness is found in Christ alone. Whether my marriage is restored tomorrow or years from now, I am whole in Jesus. A restored marriage would be an incredible blessing and bonus—not because I need it to be complete, but because together we could serve God’s Kingdom in ways we never could apart.

As someone who has experienced both the destruction that comes from broken families and the hope that comes from Christ’s redemption, I’m passionate about sharing what God is teaching me along this difficult but grace-filled journey. My heart is to help other families move from chaos to connection by pointing them to the ultimate source of healing: Jesus Christ.

I work as a pizzamaker, but my true calling is sharing God’s love with families who are struggling. When I’m not working or writing, you can find me playing basketball, running, or cycling—activities that help me stay physically and mentally healthy during this season of restoration. Through this blog, I want to walk alongside you, sharing biblical wisdom, practical insights, and real hope for family restoration—not as someone who has “arrived,” but as someone who is experiencing God’s faithfulness one day at a time.

My prayer is that through my story of brokenness and God’s ongoing redemption, you’ll find encouragement for your own family’s journey from chaos to connection.
